Peace of MYnd JOURNAL
JJ’s Hello Foundation is a Sacramento nonprofit whose mission is to prevent youth suicide, promote mental health awareness, and create a message of hope for pre-teens/teens.
One of their projects is donating Peace of MYnd Kits to students in the Elk Grove Unified School District and the Sacramento City School District who are struggling with their mental health.
Founders, Josh and Michelle Anderson, developed a journal with 52 prompts to help youth navigate their mental health. I put my spin on it by adding pages to “Write down one positive thing that happened today.” Life is overwhelming but we can usually find at least one positive thing in each day. It can be something as simple as your mom made you pancakes for breakfast, your favorite shirt was clean, or got an A on your math quiz.
If you know a youth who could benefit from one of these kits, visit JJ’s Hello Foundation.
